We raised enough money to get all four dogs to the States!
Jack and Lucy have left Kabul and are en route to the land of the free ... Syd and Ron B should follow shortly.

Do you still need donations?

ReplyDeleteI believe they are still seeking donations---an excellent cause! The homecoming party would be a great idea and from a selfish perspective, I hope it's open to those of us who donated but never met these wonderful dogs (if not, that's ok). Maybe everyone could bring a dog gift (toy or something), sort of like an adoption "shower" so the new "parents" don't have to supply a bunch of toys, etc.? Can't wait to see the pictures of them, and I hope Lucy and Jack are now home in the US!!
ReplyDeleteWe definitely welcome any additional donations to cover their crates, food, and healthcare expenses -- the money raised so far covers just the airfare and their housing in Kabul.
